Help us make this Christmas Holiday a celebration of abundance for every family in our community - especially those dealing with food insecurity!
Each Christmas Season, CCA provides food and a gift card to help families in need have a traditional Christmas meal. CCA is a “Choice” pantry which means clients make their own food selections, and which also means our bags can contain a variety of items. For ease of handling, the suggested bags are somewhat smaller than in the past, but feel free to add any shelf stable items you would like.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP
Create A Christmas Bag Containing These Suggested Items (feel free to add items as you wish):
2 cans green beans or corn
1 can mushroom soup or broth
1 can cranberry sauce
1 bag/box of stuffing
1 bag/box instant potatoes
1 cake mix and 1 canister frosting
1 bottle cooking oil (32 oz or larger)
$20 donation for the gift card
Want To Help In A Different Way?
CCA will be collecting bags at the office throughout November and December. If your congregation or group would like to participate this year, we welcome you to collect all your bags and deliver them to us all together. Our volunteers will be available to assist you in unloading.
Distribution will begin in November so having the food in the building by early November is helpful. Donations may be brought to CCA (1903 W Bowie,76110) any time we are open: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, 9am-1pm.
